President Lynne unexpectedly called Brian Daniels to the front at our meeting last Thursday to present him with a Paul Harris Three Sapphire Pin award. Lynne read out a citation choc full of info highlighting just some of the many many contributions Brian has made for Rotary and Rotary Dunedin, past and present! Her closing remarks to acknowledge Brian's huge impact on our club were:
"In short, you have volunteered for almost all of the club projects we have had and are currently working on the Charity Lunch.
Brian, we appreciate the enormous contribution the contribution you have made over many years.
The club would be so much poorer without you. Thank you for all you have done.
We thank you for your continued service over the many years of your club membership.
It has been a huge commitment, and we gather today to acknowledge and thank you for this work and present you with a further Paul Harris Pin. "
