A reminder that CoVid is still in the community - our guest speaker tested positive on Thursday morning and wasn't able to be at the meeting.
Instead six of our own members each gave short presentations based on their own interests and recent activities. Thanks to Peter Jackson (Motor Sport and an appeal for marshalls for the Otago Rally next month), Ron Mackintosh (Glasgow and Edinburgh, and their old and interesting pubs, Buxton’s Roman Baths in Derby and Hadrian’s Wall) ), Don McEwan (Totara Estate), Malcolm Liddell (Parkside Quarry), Neil Lyons (Rod Tempero Motors) and Lynne Guy ( Dots Castle and Riverstone Kitchen). The latter four were associated with the recent "Safari" by the Town & Country Committee. and were highly recommended to anybody with time to spare in Oamaru.
It also showed just what a wealth of knowledge exists within the club and our members.

Meeting the royals in their castle dining room!
