From Milton to Shanghai and back to Dunedin.
For the past 20 years Andrew Tiffany has been making his way across Asia teaching the teachers and coincidentally following the various pandemics.
He started in Tai Pei at the age of 30 going from leading at summer camp, to teacher training and then into HR, until one day a phone call was to change the trajectory of his career. He began working for The Walt Disney Company in Shanghai, although his work took him all over China. His role was to train Chinese people to work at Disney, a company which has a very specific way of training its employees. He immensely enjoyed his time with the organisation and found their values aligned with his own and aren’t that far removed from Rotary’s.
Andrew and his wife returned to New Zealand to educate their children and he now works with National Geographic remotely from his home in Mornington.
Thank you Andrew for  coming to speak to our club, it was an interesting journey through your life.
