Indoor bowls, 10pin , Skittles- whatever you like to call it, it’s FUN. On Sun 16th we rolled up for a great little welcome back event organised by Ron and his friend, Sue. Skills varied but us Rotarians were no match for the talented and ambidextrous Sue, who was also a great coach and good sport! (N.B. we are going to enter Sue into the rotary haggis throwing champs on St Andrews day!!). Coming in behind Sue, Ron and John’s team we had Cameron, Bruce, Fiona & Robin with a slightly more hit and miss approach.Following the bowls we relaxed over at Cableways where Bruce's All day breakfast was sure to set him up well for a (long) while.
If you donated a family pass to Indoor Bowls as part of your Christmas gift for Salvation Army you did well, it’s a really good interactive activity for families, friends and Rotary fellowship, hopefully we can do it again soon and even set up some team challenges so you’ll all go along with it.
