Rotarians enjoy and indeed revel in the opportunities Rotary provides whether it is meeting and enjoying the company of others, or getting stuck into a meaningful project, Rotary membership has huge opportunities. But life is of constant change and some Rotarians find they are unable to continue their membership because of this. Their contribution was valued and they are always welcome to call back into their former Rotary clubs and many do. For former members there is a standing invitation to reengage with Rotary at any time no matter where they are in the world, whether as a volunteer, a sponsor or project supporter, just in for a chat, or to rejoin as a member. Rotary would be always keen to see you back.

A fresh Rotary year has started so would you like to find out more about how to work with Rotary to "give back" among the vast opportunities Rotary offers? Everyone's a winner in Rotary so why not join us in our new venue and catering!

OCTACAN Appeal Thursday 30 July
City and Community Projects Group would like you to support this appeal by bringing cans of food to the Club Meeting that day. Between now and then you could "stock-up" by organising a mini collection amongst friends, neighbours or work colleagues, or buying an extra item or two each time you grocery shop. Most wanted items are listed above.

Former club member Michael Woodhouse M.P. spoke at our meeting last week.
Invited in his capacity as Deputy Chair of the (now disbanded) Epidemic Response Select Committee, Michael nevertheless covered other topics of interest including "Homeless Men", "Decorated Toilet Seats", and the "Driving Skills of the Co-Vid Sisters".

Meeting Meal Orders

Exciting news: "The Dish Cafe & Bar" opens this week.
Our pre-ordering system (orders to Cameron by Tuesday evening) will continue for this weeks meeting; or members will have the option of purchasing food from the cafe on the day.
