Knox College provided a perfect venue for our Connections themed Rotary Changeover Night on Thursday.

Our group were hosted by Knox College staff in their great dining hall, it was a magical setting for a wonderful meal and for our changeover formalities. 

Our event organisers John Drummond and MC Bruce Cowan ensured we had a good time with the ‘Connections’ theme. John had us group up in unexpected ways like according to our star signs, the letter of our first name and the first number of our home street address. Most people found their way into their groups but at times games host John Drummond looked somewhat exasperated with our organisational abilities! 

Seems we have no Gemini, Aquarius or Pisces members?  Nevertheless, John was able to hand out chocolate fish

 to teams who won the team challenges! 

 It was a great night where outgoing President Neil was thanked for his year of leading the club with his many fun ‘outdoor themed’ service and the fellowship activities, fundraisers and administrative tasks like updating the Club Charter. Thank you Neil! Our incoming President Lynne Guy accepted the ‘bling’ and proudly wore the chains for the first time. She said she hopes our 2026-2027 Rotary Year of service to the community will be another one of fun, fellowship, friendship and connection. Welcome President Lynne!
