Remembering Les Stewart
We were saddened to learn of the recent death of former member Les Stewart. Les joined the club in 1987 with the classification "Rural Accounting" and was an active member until 2015 (28 years) when ill health led to his resignation.
During this time Les served on all Club committees except Vocational and was convenor of the City Affairs committee soon after joining. He was convenor of the Bulletin committee, was honorary auditor of the Club finances for three years, and assisted with the Rotary Foundation administration. He was made a Paul Harris Fellow in 2005.
Our condolences go to Les' family.
April 2023 marks the 100th anniversary of Rotary Dunedin and the Directors wish to form a small "sub-committee" to plan and coordinate the celebrations! If you would like to be on this team please advise Past-President Gordon.
