 Preens Linenmaster / Apparelmaster had representation from four different clubs at the offsite meeting last Thursday. Last time they hosted it was back in 2014 when there was just over 50 staff. There are now 73 FTE roles filled by 100 faces that are on their team to deliver services throughout Otago and Southland as a result of Linenmaster expanding. Apparelmaster / Linenmaster is represented throughout NZ. Preens is celebrating 100 years in 2022. An insight into what happened to manage the business through Covid. Even though there is automation in action there are still opportunities to refine the process even further as volumes increase and to help offset wage costs rise. Lean management philosophies , or also known as the Preens Way, continue to be applied in the daily mindset of continous improvement. |
Volunteers Required on the door (to collect tickets etc) for this fund raiser to be held in Kings & Queens Performing Arts Centre on Monday 10th May. Two performances: 4.30 and 7.30 pm and volunteers are required 45 min prior to each. If you can assist please advise Stuart Melville

To allow Cameron to prepare for his forthcoming role as President we require a volunteer to take over the task of maintaining the Duty Roster for club meetings. In the past a spreadsheet has been used but this is not essential (pen & paper would work just as well!). Main duties are to extend the roster each month; and email reminders to the duty team each week.
