Venison Sausages, Sirloin Steaks, Shrimp Kebabs, Bacon Butties, a Vegetarian option and Sprouted Grain and Hemp seed bread were on the menu at the "Welcome Back BBQ" held beside the paddling pool at the Woodhaugh Gardens on Sunday. True to Dunedin tradition the cloud-cover moved in about 15 min before start time although to be fair, this was welcome sunburn protection as the temperature eventually soared into the mid-twenties. Conversation covered both Rotary (would you judge the speech contest next month) and non-Rotary (what did you do during the holidays) topics; and a generally good time was had by all.
