Otago Rally 2022
Because of CoVid the Downtown Dunedin "Tarmac" stage will not be included this year. However we have been offered the opportunity to be involved in the Whare Flat Stage on Sunday 10 April. Members wishing to assist please contact Peter Jackson. peter@propertyprofessionals.co.nz

Peter updates as follows: "Norman Oakley confirms all is going to plan with 106 entries when we spoke a week ago, Haydon Paddon is the no 1 Driver but there are plenty more stars including Hamish Bond (the Olympic rower) & Emma Gilmour. Most interesting for me will be Ben Hunt in a Skoda Fabia R2 – this a factory car probably costing close to $300k, Ben is a very good driver so he may be close to Hayden once he gets used to the car.
The plan is  that we will meet at bottom of 3 Mile Hill (Taieri side) at the intersection of  Silverstream Valley Rd (Whare Flat Rd) at 9.30am on Sunday 10th April. We need to be in position an hour before the first car & won’t be able to get out before sweeper car comes through around 1.15pm. There shouldn’t be any crowd control - its more about making sure no vehicles come out of the various roads onto the stage. There will be great viewing of rally cars on gravel,  best you take your own car to the corner with some food/beverage to last the 4hrs – you should be able to watch from your car."
