George St Pedestrianisation
The recent temporary closure of the Octagon has prompted a lot of discussion within the community about the positives and negatives which may come from the proposed partial pedestrianisation of George Street. For this week's Club Meeting we will hold a forum to discuss the plans. We will have some Members and Guests start off discussions with their thoughts on the proposed changes and then open it up the floor.

If you would like to read up prior to this you can check out the Dunedin City Council information provided on the following link: https://www.dunedin.govt.nz/council/policies,-plans-and-strategies/plans/central-city-plan/retail-quarter

Otago Rally
The Otago Rally Tarmac Super Special is on again: 3pm on Saturday 4th April.  Rotary has been asked to do the crowd control again, the stage starts at 3pm so we will need team leaders in place at 2pm with together with a few gate keepers  & the balance of marshals by 2.30pm.

We need minimum of 20 marshals  & a max of 24 to run the stage safely

Norman Oakley thinks we should have better numbers this year as there are no stages close to Dunedin on Saturday so no other viewing choices, also Hayden Paddon is competing again together with Miko Hirvonen, Alistair McRae, Peter Jackson & some other wannabe stars

If you can assist please contact Peter Jackson.

Contact Details Update
We have noticed recently that the contact phone numbers in the Club Directory (via the website/ClubRunner) are out of date for many members. We kindly ask that you log into the Club Website and update your contact number as this is particularly useful for Meals on Wheels. Alternatively a print-out list will be at the welcome desk at the 27th February  meeting to check.

Photos!
A reminder, as per the request from President John recently, we would love for any photos of our recent Rotary Dunedin events to be sent through for use on our website. Send through to Cameron or Sarah.
