RYLA 2019

Local RYLA 2019 (Rotary Young Person Leadership Awards) attendees Victoria Purdy and Rebecca Roberts will speak about their experiences attending the RYLA leadership development programme. Victoria and Rebecca were sponsored by Rotary Club of Dunedin to attend.

RYLA is a leadership development programme run by Rotary. While participants can be any age, most events focus on secondary school and university students, or young professionals. RYLA events are typically three-to-10 days long and include presentations, activities, and workshops covering a variety of topics, including:

•  Leadership fundamentals and ethics
• Communication skills
• Problem solving and conflict management
• Community and global citizenship
