What a fun weekend! Our annual Cromwell 'walking wine tour' was excellent. 15 of us were treated to the wonderful hospitality of our hosts, incredible food and bespoke winery visits to Dicey, Domain Road, Desert Heart and Carrick. James Dicey of Dicey 'by name and vocation', gave us a masterclass on the history and characteristics of the wines of the Bannockburn region, and an insight into the very high stake risks and opportunities these winemakers face.
