Archaeological discoveries at the Out Patient Block - Northern End across the road from Centre City New World
Alix Muir and Bree Wooller, archeologists working with NZ Heritage Property have been working at the site and told us some of the fascinating finds and facts the archeological excavation work has uncovered. Here is a brief summary:
Originally had 35 houses
1950's construction of new buildings, blue stone
4000 artefacts most broken.
